Enjoy the river breezes and coconut palms, add your favorite frozen drink or snack off the SandBar menu, and you'll be instantly transported to a tropical oasis.
The SandBar at Capt Hiram's Resort features two full service bars: the beautiful SandBar, which is undercover, and the scenic Coral Bar, both of which overlook the Indian River. We also have our new elevated top shelf premiun bar, Scoop's, which offers libations to guests with a more discriminating taste. An authentic lifeboat from the Sky Princess cruise ship, provides covered seating, and the capability of holding catered parties.
The Grand Sand Bandstand accommodates the SandBar's extensive live entertainment line-up, which includes national acts that appear as part of the Capt Hiram's Concert Series. This large, covered band shell, features our larger acts; and a smaller stage for more low-key musical groups, allowing for a more intimate setting is also part of the SandBar.
