Franchise/flag Hotel, Capt Hiram’s Resort North/Best Western is seeking an energetic, service-oriented, highly motivated person for the position of General Manager to lead their team.  The General Manager is responsible for managing all facets of the hotel including front office, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance, night audit, guest satisfaction and local sales efforts.  The primary function of the General Manager is to ensure efficient and profitable operation, deliver a higher quality guests experience, and maintain compliance to all brand standards.

Desired Skills & Experience

·        Previous Franchise/flag hotel management exp. required

·        Demonstrated leadership developing and leading strong teams

·        Sales and revenue management experience preferred

·        Involvement in community required

·        Must be customer service oriented

·        Must be able to prepare a budget, read and understand a financial statement and perform daily accounting paperwork

·        A flexible schedule is required.  Candidates must be willing to work nights including weekends and holidays

·        Must be organized, be effective at delegating tasks, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

·        Must have strong problem-solving skills

Salary $35 - $50,000
